Betcha yer wondering how all this flaggin' bizness works.

Why do we have flagging at all? To keep the site clear of offensive material, pornography, vulgarity, hate language, and everything else unseemly. We want the site to be peaceful, helpful, happy, and inspiring.

If you see anything offensive, flag it. If you end up in the ice box, figure out how you can make peace with the community.

When a certain number of users have flagged a user as stirring the pot in a given period of time (e.g. 7 times in 7 days), then we will automatically put that user in the "ice box" (for 7 days), where they won't be able to post.

Same principle is true with comments. When a comment has been flagged by a certain number of users, the comment is automatically cleared and replaced with a "kindly deleted :-)" message.
